POSITION SUMMARY
At Seattle Adaptive Sports (SAS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to enable people with physical disabilities to push beyond their limits and reach their full potential. We serve youth and adults with spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, limb differences, and other disabilities by providing adaptive programming for four team-based sports: wheelchair basketball, power soccer, para ice hockey, and goalball.
The Program Manager is the operational backbone of SAS, overseeing the day-to-day functioning of SAS’s teams and representing SAS in the wider community. This role ensures the right people, gear, space, and paperwork are in place at every practice, event, and outreach activity, so coaches and athletes can focus on playing.

Compensation: $32 per hour

Equipment and Facilities Management
- Help manage equipment inventory, storage, transport, and condition tracking across all programs.
- Help coordinate volunteer labor for equipment setup, breakdown, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Organize and manage practice facility space for all teams, including booking, scheduling, and day-to-day communication with venue partners.
- 2+ years in program coordination, operations, event management, or nonprofit administration.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with athletes, volunteers, board members, and community partners of all backgrounds.
