Goalball is a Paralympic sport played by blind and low vision athletes.
The SAS goalball teams, the Cobras, compete in tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. The Cobras have up to three different teams during any given season: the King Cobras, the Killer Cobras, and the Queen Cobras.
Last year the team attended the National Championships in September in Fort Wayne, IN, and has plans to do so again this year.
Practice Information
- Goalball is typically held on weekends from September through May
- Practices are each Saturday, 1pm-5pm, at SeaTac Community Center: 13735 24th Ave S SeaTac, WA 98168
- If you want to try it out, please stop by during practice and our team will get you all set up!
We are always looking for volunteers to help with set up and breakdown of the court and for chasing runaway goalballs!
