Goalball is a fast-paced Paralympic team sport for athletes who are blind or have low vision. Players rely on hearing, communication, and teamwork to defend their goal and score using a ball embedded with bells.

SAS’s program provides opportunities for athletes of all experience levels to train and compete. Depending on the season, we field up to three teams—the King Cobras, Killer Cobras, and Queen Cobras—which compete in local, regional, and national tournaments throughout the year.

The Cobras continue to grow as a competitive program. In 2025, athletes traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to compete at the National Championships, with plans to return this year.
