Role Expectations:
- Must be able to attend a minimum of 5 practices, but season commitments are preferred. Practices are on Saturdays from 10am-noon at Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th, Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125
- Prior power soccer experience is not required. We are seeking individuals that feel comfortable leading groups through physical activities. A passion for soccer or experience working with people with disabilities is a bonus.

- Prior sled hockey experience is not required. We are seeking individuals that feel comfortable leading groups through physical activities. A passion for hockey or experience working with people with disabilities is a bonus.

Description
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for assisting in volunteer acquisition and management, day to day volunteer operations, developing volunteer policies and trainings, and performing various research and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Passion for volunteerism and its impact on the success of a nonprofit organization
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and on a team
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and administrative tasks
- Assist the Operations Manager in recruitment, retention and appreciation efforts
- Support in the development and enactment of volunteer positions, policies and best practices
- Research and implement new ways of reaching out to potential volunteers; post online recruitment listings, attend volunteer fairs, visit volunteer partner sites, etc.
- Contribute to the design, implementation and assessment of volunteer and SAS trainings
- Interact and build relationships with SAS volunteers and volunteer groups
- Attend SAS events and meetings as a support to the Operations Manager
