Goalball is a Paralympic sport played by blind and low vision athletes. The SAS goalball team, the Cobras, practices weekly from September through May and competes in tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. The Cobras have up to three different teams during any given season: the King Cobras, the Killer Cobras, and the Queen Cobras. If you want to try it out, please stop by the SeaTac Community Center on a Saturday during practice and our team will get you all set up!

Program Highlights & Practice Information

Goalball is typically held on weekends from September through May. Last year the team attended the National Championships in September in Fort Wayne, IN, and has plans to do so again this year. Practices currently run each Saturday at SeaTac Community Center. We are always looking for volunteers to help with set up and breakdown of the court and for chasing runaway goalballs!
